Position: Mandarin Compliance Officer
Industry: Financial Technology Company
Location: Quezon City
Schedule: Dayshift Schedule | (9 am to 6 pm)
Salary: Negotiable
Set-up: Hybrid set-up (4 days work on-site, 1 day work from home)

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Bachelor's Degree graduate or hold a professional compliance qualification (e.g. ICA, ACAMS, CFE, etc.)
Proficient in Mandarin and English language.
3-5 years experience handling KYC within a financial institution.
Strong experience in handling Corporate KYC in financial sector
Good understanding of corporate organisational structures, principles, and familiarity with Payment products.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB APPLICATION:
Conduct research on legal entities in the Company’s systems (WorldCheck, Bureau Van Dijk, etc.) as well as on official government records and other public websites
Conduct public research to collect and verify Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB), source of funds, client information, client profiling and suitability during the account opening process - ensuring that financial crime risks are assessed and mitigated, meeting all best practice, regulatory and statutory requirements,
Assess client risk based on pre-determined risk criteria
Communicate with clients, as necessary, to obtain and understand beneficial ownership information or any other missing documentation
Conduct interviews with the partners’ compliance departments to assess that the partner's AML-CTF framework is in line with the company's expectations.
Implement new compliance policies, and procedures and centralize the coordination of remediation of audit findings.
