Position: Japanese Cobol Developer
Company Industry: IT/BPO Company
Work Location: Quezon City or Cebu City
Salary: Php 100,000 - Php 145,000 above (Open for Negotiation)
Work Schedule: Dayshift Schedule
Work Set-up: Work Onsite or Hybrid-Set-up (this can be changed depending on the business)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
✅ Open to Japanese National located in the Philippines or in Japan
✅ Open to Filipino across all Levels (JLPT N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5)
✅ Can speak basic Japanese are welcome to apply
✅ JLPT Certificate are not required but it is a big advantage
✅ Must have a technical language and knowledge of COBOL, other mainframe systems (JCL, DB2, CICS, and TSO)
✅ The Main requirement is doing software development on the required language skills (COBOL)
✅ With working experience in the required IT skills for at least 4 years and above
✅ Willingness to work in both main sites, which are in Manila or Cebu
✅ The applicant can still choose which is closer to their residence
✅ Applicants located in Japan can apply
✅ Salary is Highly Negotiable

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
✅ Designing, coding, testing, and debugging mainframe applications systems using COBOL
✅ Working with related technologies like JCL (Job Control Language), DB2, CICS, and TSO
✅ Creating and maintaining documentation for programs, processes, and procedures
✅ Translating business requirements into technical specifications
✅ Performing performance tuning and debugging for applications to ensure they run efficiently
✅ Working with cross-functional teams, including system analysts, QA testers, and business teams
