Company profile: This company provides Supply Chain, Trading and Purchasing Services, Inventory, Inspection, and Collection Management. With over 14 branch offices in China, covering sea-air-land transportation service network based on the business districts of Shanghai, Xiamen, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.
Position: Cantonese Geologist
Salary: Php 70,000-Php 100,000
Industry: Logistics Company
Schedule: Dayshift schedule with 2 days off
Location: Batangas
Requirements:
✅University Degree (Bachelor/Master) in Mine Engineering, Geology or equivalent preferred but not necessary
✅Minimum of 10 years of experience in a large open pit mine environment.
✅Maintenance planning and maintenance systems skills are highly desirable.
✅Strong Character with exceptional leadership and management skills.
✅The ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization.
✅Strong safety commitment and improvement mindset
Responsibilities:
✅Develop and lead a sector strategy. The plan should include specific activities (including Marketing activities, end seller relationship development, mining development).
✅Proactive in formulating business cases for activities in order to secure funding, demonstrating value for money and a quantifiable return on investment
✅Proactively understand company’s demands, working with colleagues across departments, and at the Department for International Trade headquarters in China
✅Map and account manage relationships with the most promising suppliers for the territory.
✅Using your network, market key Nigeria mining capabilities to the Chinese market.
✅Embarking on Mineral explorations.
✅Going for site inspections or site seeing for feasibility report
✅Wrting of geological reports after mineral exploration, site seeing and reconnaissance survey and making recommendations of suitable sites for mining
