REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
✅ Open to Filipino and Filipino-Chinese who is proficient in Mandarin, English, and Filipino
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in any course.
✅ Having experience in restaurants and kitchens.
✅ Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
✅ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
✅ Supervise daily operations of the canteen, including food preparation, service, and clean-up.
✅ Ensure that food quality and hygiene standards are consistently met.
✅ Manage food storage, handling, and waste disposal according to food safety regulations.
✅ Led, trained, and supervised canteen staff to ensure effective performance, adherence to operational procedures, and high standards of customer service.
✅ Organize and assign tasks to staff, ensuring smooth operation during peak hours.
✅ Provide ongoing training on health and safety, food handling, and customer service protocols.
✅ Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
✅ Managed Chinese Chef for all requests and needed assistance.
✅ Monitor and maintain stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
✅ Place orders for stock based on usage levels and maintain cost control over inventory.
✅ Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
✅ Provide excellent customer service to all employees.
✅ Handle employee's complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring satisfaction is achieved.
✅ Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the canteen.
✅ Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines, cleanliness standards, and equipment safety.
✅ Maintain cleanliness of all canteen areas, including kitchen, dining, and storage areas.
✅ Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to minimize risks of contamination.
✅ Checking all equipment and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance.
✅ Monitor and manage the canteen’s budget, ensuring that operating costs stay within set limits.
✅ Prepare reports and analyze operations to improve canteen services and offerings.
✅ Maintain records related to stock, inventory, food safety, and staff attendance.
✅ Schedule shifts and ensure appropriate staffing levels for peak times.
✅ Manage maintenance issues or equipment breakdowns promptly to the relevant vendor.
