Responsibilities and Qualifications
• Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
• Strong experience with CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9, Ubuntu Linux 20.04/22.04, VMware vSphere 7.0, and server hardware including HPE, Dell, Ciara, and Blackcore.
• Familiarity with global storage platforms, including Pure Storage, NetApp, AWS S3, and Rubrik.
• Operate and support global compute platforms, including CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9, Ubuntu Linux 20.04/22.04, VMware vSphere 7.0, and server hardware including HPE, Dell, Ciara, and Blackcore.
• Monitor and maintain multiple Kafka deployments, responding to alerts that could affect service availability or performance, and perform routine maintenance such as Kafka/Zookeeper node upgrades while maintaining service.
