Position: Accounting Fund Specialist

Job Requirements:
✨Bachelor’s degree holder
✨With at least 5 years’ experience in accounting, focus on private equity is an advantage
✨With experience in DealCloud CRM platform an asset
✨With experience in General Partner Accounting or Fund Accounting is an advantage
✨With knowledge of ERP systems (Sage Intact and Investran) is a plus

Job Responsibilities:
✨Streamline and optimize processes to increase efficiency
✨Document policies and procedures across different funds/investments
✨Prepare allocation and distribution of capital calls on a deal-by-deal basis, as well as expenditure allocation and investor capital alerts.
✨Assist in tracking and sustaining carried interest issue.
✨Summarize major provisions from the fund agreements.
✨Perform monthly cash reconciliations for many funds.
✨Create monthly journal entries in Investran based on capital activities.
✨Record, maintain quarterly trial balances, and reconcile fund accounting workpapers, as well as the general partner's year-to-date and life-to-date capital activity summary and reconciliations.
✨Track and maintain tax withholdings and payments for each investor, fund, and legal organization.
✨Prepare, update, or review year-to-date and life-to-date capital activity.
✨Track and maintain the General Partner Commitment Tracker by Fund.
✨Help with ad hoc reporting needs.
